About Us

Tukes Valley PTO, founded in 2013, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students at Tukes Valley Schools by nurturing connections among the school, parents, teachers, and the community. One of our key objectives is to provide financial support, subject to request and approval, to enhance educational initiatives throughout the campus. An important milestone was achieved in 2023 when Tukes Valley PTO received its 501(c)(3) designation, thereby solidifying and broadening our commitment to supporting Tukes Valley Schools.

How We Supported The Schools

Annual Support Activities

The PTO supports the students, families, and teachers of Tukes Valley in a variety of ways. Here’s a few of example of what we support:

  • Resource requests are granted to teachers to help them source additional resources to help out in their classrooms. Books for the library, clay and glaze for art are just some of the resources provided.
  • Student Celebrations – As students make major transitions (8th grade to high school, 4th grade to middle school, kindergarten to 1st grade), the PTO supports the celebrations to provide a positive transition as their lives continue to change in big ways.

New Gym Equipment

The PTO assisted in funding two major projects for the schools this year: Basketball hoops for the undercover court for the Middle School and a climbing wall for the Primary School.

The Fun Things We Do

Boosterthon Obstacle Course Fun Run

The kids always have a great time during the fun runs! This year was an outdoor obstacle course held during the Fall. The event raised over $12K for the PTO!

Family Fun Night

In the spring, we held our first family fun night event since the onset of the pandemic. The theme was based on the book “Maybe Maybe Marisol Rainey” by Erin Entrada Kelly. It was great to see all the families get together for a fun evening of games, prizes, and food.

Teacher and Classified Staff Appreciation

We love our teachers and staff! The PTO and our families brought in snacks, lunch from Chipotle and tumblers to show how much we appreciate everything they do.
